Strengthened regulations, optimized incinerators! Discover our innovative revamping solution for controlled emissions.

With the implementation of the new BREF (strengthened regulations), the environmental criteria for the French incinerators have become even more rigorous. This is reflected in the reduction of emission limit values (ELVs) and the inclusion of mercury abatement.

Incineration gases contain significant concentrations of dioxins/furans and, in some cases, mercury. To reduce these emissions, incinerators use adsorbents.

For some plants, it is possible to optimize this system to ensure compliance with standards, a process known as “revamping”. Revamping existing incineration flue gas treatment plants includes monitoring injection rates. We offer injections based on weight loss to monitor the consumption of activated carbon, lignite coke or Sorbacal Micro.

Interests?

Depending on the measurements taken in the incineration flue gases and any pollution peaks, it is possible to adjust the quantity of reagents injected according to the level of pollution. Our solution provides precise monitoring of the quantities of reagents injected per incineration line. Moreover, this solution can be integrated into an existing installation, depending on the space available.

The installation includes:

– a silo or big-bag emptying station,

– a Sodimate mechanical unloading system,

– and a conveyor under the silo to feed a buffer hopper on load cells. The load cells enable precise measurement of the amount of reagent consumed. A display with a 4-20 mA output makes it easy to record the quantities of reagents injected per incineration line on your supervision system.
