In order to adhere to stringent state and federal drinking water quality regulations, the GUC Water Treatment Plant employs PAC injection system technology to eliminate organic contaminants during their raw water purification process. Unfortunately, their previous PAC discharge system faced consistent reliability and maintenance challenges, necessitating an upgrade.
The maintenance department, headed by Robert Veale, an instrument controls specialist boasting over 35 years of experience, embarked on a quest for a user-friendly and efficient discharge and feed solution. Their goal was to minimize manual intervention and seamlessly integrate it into their expansion project, which sought to boost the water treatment capacity by an additional 10 million gallons per day to accommodate the growing customer base and increasing system demands.
